The loneliest people are the kindest. The saddest people smile the brightest. The most damaged people are the wisest. All because they do not wish to see anyone else suffer the way they do.
Commissioned painting. One of my favorite recent works, I think. :)
I’ll be doing a very limited edition print run of this piece to start off my personal print shop. They’ll be gallery quality inkjet prints, signed, numbered, 13”x19” size and run about $80 USD. E-mail me if you’d like to reserve one in advance. Otherwise, there will be an announcement in the future when they’re available!
Tom Hiddleston as the twelfth doctor. The photo was begging for it really.
Love it! But gaaah, it’s pretty freaky when he looks up…
Doctor: It must hurt.
River: Yes. The wrist is pretty bad too.
#THIS. #Don’t you see? They’ve reversed roles. She is to him what he is to his companions. The Doctor isn’t the one lying here to try and make things better, #he isn’t the one hiding pain to console his friends, he isn’t the one sad and alone because he can’t talk about his past. #It’s River. #She’s his protector, #she’s The Doctor’s Doctor. And that’s why she’s a professor. A professor in archeology. #Because she can see what is from remnants of broken pieces #and the doctor is so broken that only an archeologist could know where to begin rebuilding
The first six episodes of the 2010 series were given an informal readthrough with Matt Smith, Karen Gillan, and the writers during June 2009, and then further refined; the Doctor’s comment of “Come on, Pond” was added based on how Matt teasingly spoke to Karen on set. The new TARDIS scene saw the Doctor saying to Amy “Come along Pond!”, drawing upon a playful phrase which Matt had started to use on set with Karen.
-Doctor Who Magazine #26 - The Doctor Who Companion,

ALL OF THE TEARS D:
“Hold my hand, Doctor. Try to see what I see. We’re so lucky we’re still alive to see this beautiful world. Look at the sky. It’s not dark and black, without character. The black is in fact deep blue. And over there, lighter blue. And blue and through the blueness and the blackness, the wind swirling through the air. And then shining, burning, bursting through the stars. Can you see how they roll their light? Everywhere we look, complex magic of nature blazes before our eyes.”
ALL THE TEARS. EVERY DAMN TIME.
But I love it anyway :]
sherlock holmes used to be good friends with the doctor until some tragic events forced him to forget everything and move on like he never exsisted. memories of the doctor were forever locked away deep inside his mind palace until mentions of this mysterious man reawaken them.
I support this AU :]
